Low-Carb Ranch Dressing
A fresh, summers market approach to a healthy, low-carb ranch dressing. Fresh parsley, chives and dill add a delicious and nutritious touch to this full-fat ranch dressing. Avocado mayonnaise, or homemade bacon fat mayo, gives this dressing the creaminess we want without harmful seed oils, which damage the health of our cells. Use liberally on grilled vegetables, protein and farmers market fresh salads.
Serves 12
Ingredients
1 c. avocado mayo or bacon fat mayo
1/2½c. plain yogurt (I like Kite Hill greek yogurt for dairy-free version, goat or sheep’s milk yogurt for animal based version)
1- 2 T. fresh lemon juice
2 t. Dried parsley or 2 T. fresh chopped
1 t. Dried chives or 1 T. Fresh chopped
1 t. Dried dill or 1 T. fresh chopped
Salt & Ground black pepper to taste
¼2 T. heavy whipping cream, (dairy-free options are unsweetened almond milk, cashew milk or coconut milk)
2-4 T. The New Primal medium buffalo sauce (optional)
Directions
Whisk all ingredients in a bowl.
Add the milk last, gradually, watching to not thin in out too much.
Store in fridge.
